FAQ
How long does the process take?
Each tile is made with a lot of care, and since it’s just me creating every portrait from start to finish, I kindly ask for a minimum of two weeks for the initial process. I aim to have orders shipped within 4–6 weeks of the order date.
I also take weekends off, so please keep that in mind when estimating your timeline. For the most current updates, you can always check the Order Progress Tracker to see where your piece is in the queue!
If you need your tile by a specific date, feel free to reach out via email prior to ordering; I am happy to see what I can do to help.
Can multiple pets be on one tile?
Absolutely! Each tile includes one pet in the base price, and you can add additional pets right on the product page. For reference, here’s the maximum number that comfortably fits on each tile size:
-
4" x 4" — 1 pet
-
6" x 6" — up to 4 pets
-
8" x 8" — up to 5 pets
Do you ever draw full body portraits?
At this time, I stick to bust portraits (neck/collar up) as they work best for the style and layout of the tiles.
Would you ever revisit your gothic style?
Yes! If you’d like a gothic-themed portrait, just mention it in your order notes and I will be happy to accommodate!
How are the tiles shipped?
Because the tiles are sturdy and have some weight to them, each one is carefully wrapped in tissue paper and bubble wrap before being sent via USPS Priority Mail. Tracking is always included.
(Currently shipping within the U.S. only.)
Please note that Pumpkin & Grumble is not responsible for lost, damaged, delayed, or stolen packages. Any delivery issues should be directed to USPS.
Can I use my tile as a coaster and/or trivet?
I recommend displaying your tile as an art piece only. Using it as a coaster or trivet could shorten its lifespan.
Are you willing to draw other animals aside from dogs & cats?
Yes, I’m open to drawing other types of pets! Just send me a message before ordering so we can chat about the details.
Can you remake a design you've made previously?
I’m always happy to recreate a similar look, color scheme, or theme. Since each tile is handmade and one-of-a-kind, I can’t perfectly duplicate a past design.
How do I care for my tile?
Care instructions are provided with every order; however, they are always available below:
Keep your tile out of sunlight.
This can cause it to yellow in appearance over time.
Avoid any extreme pressure or heat.
This can potentially cause marks or indents to appear. It might even cause the piece to get damaged as the base is ceramic.
Do not submerge in water.
Use a damp microfiber cloth to clean.
